John Dollin Trott came to Sydney, Australia in 1884 on the ‘Kildare’ with his brother, William Henry Trott and William's family.

Married Hannah Thompson on 23 Nov 1887 in Sydney. Hannah’s family had been in Australia since 1791.

John Dollin Trott died at St Peters, NSW in 1919 and is buried at Rookwood Cemetery.
